The first major nominations of Bigg Boss Telugu 10 brought plenty of drama, heated arguments, and unexpected accusations inside the house. After a competitive opening week that determined the housemates, the contestants finally faced the much-awaited nomination process on Monday.
During the previous week, the contestants competed in various challenges as part of the process to become official housemates. Chaitra and Charan were eliminated during this phase, while viewers expected another eviction over the weekend. However, no additional contestant was eliminated, and the show moved into its regular nomination cycle.
Bigg Boss Telugu 10 Nominations Task Explained
For the first nomination round, Bigg Boss called two contestants at a time. They had to walk through a designated path, choose a pole, and remove the rope wrapped around it. After completing the task, they had to choose between two axes: a Silver Axe and a Golden Axe.
The contestant who picked the Silver Axe earned the right to nominate one housemate, while the Golden Axe allowed them to nominate two contestants. The contestant who lost the round automatically received one nomination vote.
Bigg Boss also clarified that contestants holding an axe could nominate anyone, including the person who lost the particular round.
Sudheer Nominates Trigun and Shalini
The first face-off was between Jhansi and Sudheer. Sudheer won the round and picked the Golden Axe, allowing him to nominate two contestants.
He first nominated Trigun, accusing him of speaking differently to different housemates. Sudheer claimed that Trigun told him one thing while telling Rohith something completely different.
Sudheer also brought up the incident involving Chaitra and alleged that Trigun had judged her without properly considering her game. His second nomination was Shalini. He said he did not like the way she responded when she was assigned washroom-cleaning duties and chose to use her power instead of accepting the task.
Debjani Targets Thrigun
Next, Krishna and Debjani competed in the nomination challenge, with Debjani emerging victorious. She selected the Silver Axe and nominated Thrigun.
Debjani said Thrigun does not communicate his concerns directly and instead discusses them with other housemates. She also said she was unhappy that Thrigun had spoken to her about Sudheer.
Rohith and Thrigun Clash During Nominations
The clash between Varshini and Rohith ended with Rohith winning the round and picking the Golden Axe. His first nomination was once again Trigun, leading to a heated exchange between the two contestants.
Rohith objected to Trigun allegedly referring to his physique as a “steroids body”. He also accused Trigun of making different comments about him in different conversations.
Rohith further addressed comments suggesting that he had sent Srishti to confront Sudheer. He said he strongly disliked such remarks, particularly because they involved another female contestant.
Rohith’s second nomination was Jhansi. He accused her of playing a safe game and asked her to change her approach. Jhansi, however, defended herself by saying that she had her own strategy. She also reminded Rohith that he had previously asked her about what other housemates thought of him.
When Trigun entered the argument, Rohith continued the confrontation with him, escalating the tension in the house.
Naresh Nominates Shalini
Naresh defeated Shalini in their nomination round and selected the Silver Axe. He chose to nominate Shalini.
Naresh accused her of taking the game too seriously and struggling to accept defeat. He also referred to her earlier argument with Chaitra, claiming that Shalini had hurt Chaitra during the confrontation and eventually made her apologise.
He further pointed out that Shalini had repeatedly been late when called by Bigg Boss and had already received a warning.
Trigun Hits Back at Sudheer and Rohith
The next contest between Shalini and Trigun ended with Trigun winning the Golden Axe. He immediately nominated Sudheer, who had earlier targeted him.
Trigun said he could accept criticism but could not accept accusations of backstabbing. He claimed that Sudheer himself had discussed the height difference between Trigun and Srishti with him and that he had not shared those comments with anyone else.
Trigun also clarified his remarks about the contestants “cleaning” or “scrubbing” and said he had never intended them in the wrong sense. He added that he has five sisters and would not make inappropriate comments about women.
Trigun then accused Sudheer of deliberately picking fights with him because it would make Sudheer more visible in the show.
For his second nomination, Trigun chose Rohith. He accused Rohith of neither taking responsibility nor allowing others to work properly. Meanwhile, tensions also rose between Varshini and Shalini, who were involved in another heated argument.
Aman Nominates Ram Prasad and Jhansi
Mukesh and Aman then competed against each other, with Aman winning the round and choosing the Golden Axe.
His first nomination was Ram Prasad. Aman later nominated Jhansi, saying he initially appreciated her game but did not like her telling others that they were confused about their gameplay.
Vamsi Nominates Debjani and Mukesh
The final round featured Ram Prasad and Vamsi. Vamsi emerged victorious and picked the Golden Axe.
His first nomination was Debjani, based on a word she had used during a conversation. Vamsi said he did not like the word and did not even want to repeat it.
Debjani explained that she was unaware the word could be considered inappropriate in that context. She said it was commonly used in gyms and that she understood the issue only after Varshini pointed it out.
Vamsi then nominated Mukesh, saying that Mukesh shaving his beard inside the house had become an issue for him.
