The Bigg Boss Telugu 10 house witnessed an unexpected wave of family emotions during the Day 17 episode. Usually, family-related moments become more prominent after several weeks inside the house, but this season brought those emotional scenes much earlier. The September 24 episode featured contestants breaking down after losing letters and photographs sent by their families, along with another captaincy contender task.
Debjani Breaks Down After Losing Her Family Letter
The episode continued from the previous day’s temptation task involving Mukesh and Debjani. After Mukesh chose to destroy the letter that Debjani had received from home, she was left heartbroken and broke down in tears.
Ram Prasad and Naresh tried to cheer her up and eventually managed to make her smile. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss sent Mukesh the promised photograph of him with his father as part of the temptation he had chosen.
The house also witnessed some light-hearted fun when Ram Prasad and Naresh arranged a playful “marriage meeting” between Debjani and Rohith. They joked about Rohith’s salary and said that their daughter would need a monthly income of Rs 2 lakh, creating some entertaining moments in the house.
Vamsi and Trigun Get a Funny Punishment
The earlier incident involving Vamsi and Trigun also resurfaced during the episode. Captain Jhansi recalled the punishment given by Nagarjuna after the two contestants were involved in an argument while cooking.
As part of the punishment, Bigg Boss sent plaster strips into the house. Jhansi then applied them to Vamsi and Trigun’s mouths, recreating the punishment and adding a humorous moment to the episode.
Varshini and Aman Compete for Captaincy
The captaincy contender race continued with another task. Bigg Boss announced that Mukesh, who had won the previous challenge, and Debjani, who had lost it, would not participate in the new task. Instead, they were appointed as the Sanchalaks for the game.
Varshini and Aman emerged as the two contestants competing in the task. They had to jump into the pool and collect bags, taking only one bag at a time. They then had to bring the bags back and throw them onto the respective coloured play areas.
Bigg Boss also announced that if a contestant’s bag fell down, another contestant could pick it up. After an intense contest, Aman won the task.
Aman Chooses Rohith for the Tension
Following his victory, Bigg Boss called Aman and offered him another emotional temptation. Bigg Boss revealed that Aman’s mother had sent his favourite food and offered to send it into the house if Aman agreed to give another contestant a “tension.”
Aman was asked to choose between Shalini and Rohith. He selected Rohith. As a result, Rohith’s letter from home was destroyed. The decision left Rohith emotional as he lost the message sent by his family.
Srishti Wins the Next Task
The temptation-based game continued when Sudheer and Srishti became the next contestants to press the buzzers. The two competed against each other in another task, with Srishti eventually emerging victorious.
Bigg Boss then called Srishti and offered her a chance to receive a letter written by her mother. However, she had to put another housemate under pressure to receive it.
Srishti was given a choice between Vamsi and Trigun. She had to decide whose wife’s letter would be destroyed. Srishti chose Trigun.
Trigun Gets Emotional After Losing His Wife’s Letter
Srishti’s decision resulted in Trigun’s letter from his wife being destroyed. The moment became emotional for Trigun, who was visibly affected by the loss of the family message.
With Debjani, Rohith and Trigun facing emotional moments because of their family letters, the Day 17 episode became one of the more emotional episodes of Bigg Boss Telugu 10 so far.
