Chaitra Rai was born to Mr. B.D. Vasu Rai and Mrs. Gulabi Rai on Thursday, March 29, 1990, in Coorg, Karnataka, India. She developed an interest in acting at a young age and eventually entered the Kannada television industry.
Chaitra Rai Career
Chaitra Rai began her acting career in the Kannada television industry in 2009 with the serial Kusumanjali. Following her debut, she appeared in several Kannada television serials and gradually established herself as a popular television actress.
Some of her notable Kannada serials include Bombeyatavayya (2010–11), Radha Kalyana (2011–15), Gejje Pooje (2011–12), Bannada Buguri (2012–13), Pournami (2012–13), Nagamani (2013) and Yuggadi. After establishing herself on Kannada television, Chaitra Rai made her Kannada film debut in 2014 with the movie Jamboo Savari.
Her transition from television to films gave her an opportunity to explore different types of roles while continuing her work in the entertainment industry.
Chaitra Rai expanded her career to the Telugu television industry and made her Telugu TV debut with the serial Ashta Chamma in 2017.
