Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 has officially begun with a grand launch episode filled with celebrity entries, commoner contestants, special appearances, and emotional moments. Hosted by Akkineni Nagarjuna, the landmark season premiered on Star Maa and JioHotstar, marking Nagarjuna’s eighth consecutive season as the face of the popular reality show.
The makers have introduced a special “Dasavataram” theme for the 10th edition of Bigg Boss Telugu. Unlike the earlier plan of having only 10 contestants enter on premiere night, the grand launch eventually saw 16 contestants step into the house.
Nagarjuna Launches Bigg Boss Telugu 10 With Dasavataram Theme
The grand premiere opened with Nagarjuna officially launching Bigg Boss Telugu 10. The actor-host also gave viewers a tour of the newly designed Bigg Boss house, built around the season’s Dasavataram concept.
The special theme adds a unique identity to the landmark 10th season, with the house and launch proceedings reflecting the significance of the new edition.
As part of the grand launch celebrations, Nagarjuna also interacted through video conference with other prominent hosts from the Bigg Boss franchise. Mohanlal, host of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8, Sudeep, host of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13, and Vijay Sethupathi, host of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10, joined the celebrations.
Debjani Modak Becomes First Contestant
Bengali-born television actress Debjani Modak, popularly known as Kinni, became the first contestant to enter the Bigg Boss Telugu 10 house.
Debjani has worked across Bengali, Tamil, and Telugu television industries. She is known for serials including Ennenno Janmala Bandham. Her entry opened the contestant lineup for the new season.
Thrigun Enters as Second Contestant
Actor Thrigun, also known as Adith Arun, entered the house as the second contestant.
The actor is predominantly known for his work in Telugu cinema and has also appeared in Tamil and Kannada projects. His filmography includes movies such as Eesha, Devil, and Katha.
Singer Jhansi Becomes First Commoner Contestant

Commoner contestant Aman Masud became the fifth contestant to enter the Bigg Boss Telugu 10 house.
